Recipients of FY08 SDFSC Funds
Eighteen local initiatives in South Carolina are sharing in approximately $894,000 in funding provided through the federal Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act for fiscal year 2008.
DAODAS administers the Governor’s portion of these funds allocated to South Carolina through the U.S. Department of Education’s Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Program.
Criteria for funding included a basis in data and research, cost-effectiveness, and measurable objectives for each program.
