DAODAS is dedicated to educating the general public about the dangers of alcohol, tobacco and other drug abuse, as well as related problem behaviors. In addition, the department is committed to continually assessing the training needs of substance abuse professionals within South Carolina and to offering cost-effective training that leads to a workforce proficient in all aspects of substance abuse reduction.
